Summary:
We are looking for hard-working, honest, and friendly Warehouse Assistant Manager.
Ideal candidates must be able to handle various tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
Essential Job Functions (Warehouse Assistant Manager):
Assist in the management of the warehouse and staff.
Open and/or close the warehouse.
Maintain awareness of our products, merchandise and advertisements.
Receive and process shipments.
Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures.
Maintain the warehouse clean and orderly.
Provide a good experience to employees.
Hold employees accountable for following company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other managers on achieving goals (staffing, financial, etc).
Requirements:
At least 1 year of retail management experience with knowledge of store operations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Be a mentor with the ability to develop team members and provide them with the tools and guidance to be successful.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to count and provide accurate quantity information.
Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
Must be able to move throughout all areas of the warehouse including the outside perimeter.
Must be reliable and punctual.
