This position would also coordinate and supervise tutorial staff for the lab.
The position may require non-standard hours, including nights and weekends.
Though working hours may be flexible, scheduling will be based primarily on the scheduling needs of the program participants.
The position also requires the ability to work with faculty, staff and students.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to convey subject matter to students in a supportive manner.
This position is sensitive and will require a criminal background check.

Manage activities in the Math Lab, including but not limited to, staffing of adjunct and peer tutors, scheduling, assessment, reporting, day-to-day administration of Math Lab resources, and classroom instruction as needed.
Develop and coordinate academic skill-building programs to meet the needs of traditional and non-traditional students.
Programs may include, but are not limited to, one-on-one tutoring, online tutoring, study groups, group tutoring, and supplemental instruction.
Work with students enrolled in accelerated, personalized, and modularized math course formats.
Serve as liaison between the Math Lab staff and faculty in the Math Division as well as other academic divisions.
Develop new methods of increasing student participation in the Lab.
Know the sequence of courses offered by the division and be able to answer questions about course content.
Provide workshops on specific academic needs.
Attend professional development activities and training.
Collaborate with campus retention specialists.
Maintain an on-campus presence of 37.
5 hours per week, flexible working hours, some evenings and weekends, as needed.
Teach 6 credit hours in the summer session.
Maintain the Math Lab website and Canvas shell.
Master's degree required from a regionally accredited college or university.
Minimum of one year teaching experience or tutoring required.
Proficiency in the use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook) and common Internet search engines.
