We are looking to hire a key member of our Technical team at our Panama City, FL location.
Key Responsibilities The Operations Co-op position exists as a developmental support position for our manufacturing operations teams.
The position will be involved in day-to-day process engineering support activities and also be responsible for completing 1-2 larger, long-term projects which will be defined at the beginning of the co-op rotation.
Co-ops will be targeted at the sophomore and junior levels and will complete 2-3 rotations within the Company's manufacturing operations and may be assigned to manufacturing plants located in Panama City, Florida; Pensacola, Florida; Savannah, Georgia, Belpre, Ohio and Dover, Ohio.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Define and complete 1-2 large projects within the rotation period.
Gain knowledge of the Company's operations and provide technical support as needed.
Participate in plant management and departmental team meetings.
Create and deliver end of semester presentation/report to senior management and executive leadership.

Experience performing work in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Basic understanding and knowledge of manufacturing operations processes, procedures, and equipment.
Must evidence effective business communication skills, (oral, written, instructional, and presentation).
Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing process/operation.
Able to work off hours if needed/necessary.
Education, Certifications & Licenses Students seeking Bachelor's degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry.
A current undergraduate or graduate-level student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering or related technical field with a minimum 3.
0 GPA.
