Therapist is responsible for providing individual, couple and family therapy in accordance to the needs of the patient.
While clinical collaboration and consultation is available, it is expected that the therapist is a seasoned professional and able to assess client and family needs, evaluate, coordinate and ensure necessary services are provided through the context of professional counseling to facilitate better balanced health and wellness.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Provides therapy in accordance with acceptable standards of care.
Maintains all required and appropriate documentation for clinical records per policy.
Completes and documents assessment to include a diagnosis of condition and developed treatment plan.
(Preferred) Knowledge and skills in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression across all age groups.
(Preferred) Therapist/Counselors who can do couples therapy and see young children.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a collaborative relationship with staff.
Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to use a computer with access to basic Microsoft applications.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Represents Green Wave in a professional manner within the community.
Maintains quality standards and credentials (License, professional insurance and CEUs).
Has a theoretical compatibility to our mission at Green Wave Family Wellness Center.
To facilitate better balanced health and wellness across the lifespan through a coordinated effort by a diversified group of professionals using the latest advancements in an efficient and caring way.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work or Psychology.
Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.
Must have two years or more of licensed professional experience providing services to adults, adolescents and/or children.
Schedule:
Green Wave is open 9:
00 AM to 6:
00 PM Monday to Friday.
Currently, we have a large Waiting List of patients seeking counseling immediately that will support the new hire's case load at full time very quickly.
During Covid-19 concern we are utilizing a Telehealth approach with Face To Face options.
