Administrative Assistance
Summary:
To provide management and labor necessary to support Continental United States NORAD Region (CONR), First Air Force (1 AF) Air Forces Northern (AFNORTH), Air Forces Space (AFSPACE) Tyndall AFB, FL and its associated units at Eastern Air Defense Sector (EADS), Rome, NY; and Western Air Defense Sector (WADS) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) AFB, WA.
Will be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Component-Numbered Air Force (C-NAF), Headquarters Air Force (HAF) standards, instructions, and commercial practices.
Duties and Responsibilities Prepare a wide variety of correspondence and reports and compose routine non-technical correspondence, such as letters of acknowledgement or notification.
Consolidate and finalize information for various reports; gather and summarize information from files and documents for supervisor's use in responding to inquiries; edit documents for correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and format.
Screen incoming mail, receive telephone calls, and greet visitors.
Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.
Review and update office procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations regarding the clerical, procedural, and administrative work of the unit.
Establish, maintain, purge, and dispose of office records and files in accordance with regulations and procedures.
Make travel arrangements including scheduling transportation, making lodging reservations, and preparing travel orders and vouchers.
Prepare, consolidate, submit, and maintain time and attendance records in accordance with established procedures.
Gather all requisitions for office supplies, printing support, and related materials and services.
Update tracker or suspense files as required.
Training may consist of the following:
Attend conferences, symposiums, and training course/sessions as needed, Anti-Terrorism Training, Derivative Classification Training, Ancillary Training, Operations Security, Training in support of new or updated technology for the mission requirements, Crew Mission Ready Certification.
Qualifications Experience comparable to Air Force Enlisted with a military grade of E5 - E7 has been used to meet this requirement.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures required.
Experience working with the Department of Defense, or other federal agency preferred.
Computer skills required:
Proficient in MS Windows , MS Project , MS Office (package), and Adobe software.
Other skills required:
Highly attentive to professional details including style, grammar, and document formatting.
US Citizenship Demonstrate skill in verbal and written communication.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
