The selected candidate for this position will primarily work in a collaborative partnership with the Coast Guard's new Mission Support Organization, the United States Navy and any industry partners under contract to assigned cutter projects for the property management efforts associated with the design, production, and fielding of assigned cutter projects.
The position is located on-site at PRO in Panama City, FL.
Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
Typical work assignments include:
Exercising broad judgment and considerable ingenuity on-site to creating, developing, establishing and implementing property management acquisition strategies and acquisition plans for cutter projects.
Providing input and assistance in generating Integrated Support Plans (ISPs) and Property Management Plans for the assigned cutter acquisition projects.
Ensuring assigned cutter projects develop requirements to appropriately and efficiently execute property management.
Providing technical and contract oversight for the execution of property management under assigned cutter project contracts and support contracts.
Managing and executing property management tasks necessary to fulfill the broad scope of PRO Gulf Coast responsibilities to include a full range of project management and property management functions.
