Summary:
The Front Desk / Insurance Verification Specialist's primary duties are verifying insurance benefits, insurance pre-certification and authorizations prior to new patient appointments.
Entering data accurately, timely, and effectively communicating to multiple audiences are key skills of this position.
This role serves as a valued member of our front office team and requires effective cross-departmental collaboration.
The right individual must demonstrate the ability to maintain good rapport with the public and all other personnel and clinical staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Verifying patient insurance coverage.
Develop and maintain key contacts with providers.
Assist front office with day-to-day responsibilities Understand and articulate information to treating providers and to patients, as necessary.
Enter data such as insurance information into patient accounts, Job requires extensive time on phone and provider websites daily.
Qualifications:
Must have 1
years of experience High school diploma or equivalent education Accuracy in data entry Must have computer and research skills Knowledge of insurance types, coverage and policies Must have the ability to work on multiple tasks at once Must be detail oriented Must work well in a team environment Ability to communicate well with public and other personnel in a tactful and courteous manner Please apply online to be considered.
