Our jobs involve working on a diverse range of local projects that will help prepare for high-level Fiber/Copper installs in out-of-town settings, offering elevated pay.

Pull and route cable to industry and customer standards.
Performing multiple IDC terminations (66, 110, LSA and BIX) Terminating coaxial cable Performing basic testing of copper cabling installations Have a basic understanding of blueprints and job drawings Identify, track, and remove abandoned cable Install pathways, raceway, cabinets, spaces, and fire stopping Display a desired to improve trade skills Identify and correct non-technical deficiencies.
Preform non-technical and technical tasks un-supervised.
Correct deficiencies without supervision Maintain accountability and serviceability of tools, equipment, and materials.
Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures Discuss pathways, spaces, bonding, grounding, and fire stopping.

Responsibilities:
Successfully interpret drawings, plans, statement of work, and specifications on small to medium size projects.
Implement the job plan and scope of work as well as perform retrofits and upgrades for existing infrastructure Identify and correct ALL deficiencies without supervision.
Interact with Customers, Safety Representatives, QC inspectors and other project Officials in a professional manner.
Display Advanced troubleshooting knowledge.
Assist project managers with quality control duties.
Properly explain the importance of safety and professionalism toward optimal job performance Successfully lead an installation group or team using project management skills on large projects.
Perform advanced testing and troubleshooting copper installations.
Discuss and evaluate numerous specific applications of information and communications technology (ICT) cabling installation.
Make recommendations based on applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
Produce detailed project updates as needed.
Understand customer satisfaction levels.
Prepare and take corrective action to address concerns.
Education &
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

years of experience in a telecommunications environment.
Valid driver's license with good driving record and have transportation Must pass a federal background check BICSI, FOA, Corning certifications are a plus.
Fiber Splicing, Blueprint knowledge, and bidirectional/OTDR tester knowledge is a plus.
Ability to implement an ITS job plan, Com room buildout and construction site knowledge is a plus.
