This professional position involvesimplementing the SNAP group counseling and training program, an evidence based groupintervention program designed to provide parents and pre-teens with positiveand effective decision making skills to help at-risk children, aged six totwelve years, maintain successful school attendance and performance whileavoiding situations that could result in contact with the juvenile justicesystem.
The program conducts semester long programs for students and parentsafter school and in the early evenings.
Education/
Experience:
A bachelor degree in Social Work,Management or related field and paid SNAP specific training will be provided.
Experiencewith presentations in front of small groups is very desirable.
