Job Description:
As a Civil Construction surveyor at Gulf Coast Utility Contractors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of layout activities throughout the construction process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting topographic surveys to gather data for construction projects using DJI Smart Construction Drone and software.
(must obtain FAA UAS Certified Remote Pilot License) Laying out sites and ensuring accurate positioning of structures.
Monitoring and adjusting layout instruments to maintain accuracy.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Preparing and maintaining reports, drawings, and documentation.
Implementing and adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
Qualifications:
2 years' experience in civil layout, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Civil Construction layout position.
Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS (Trimble and Topcon.
) Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with relevant software applications (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, Topcon 3D-Office, etc.
).
