Summary:
The role of Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Job
Responsibilities:
Separate and wash/dry all laundry and linens Properly treat and remove stains Iron linens/sheets Fold and sort all laundry Maintain a tidy and clean workplace Track all laundry to ensure it is returned to whom it belongs Perform minor sewing duties as needed Anticipate and respond to customers queries, concerns and complaints Maintain the inventory level of needed supplies Clean lint traps of equipment Prepare the machines for daily service All other duties as assigned Education and
Experience:
Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred Previous experience in a related field preferred but not required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Detail oriented and thorough Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way Ability to identify and resolve issues related to position independently Ability to follow launder procedures properly Excellent attention to detail Time management skills Ability to multitask Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
