is looking for a Senior Roadway inspector to conduct inspections for our growing highway construction workload.
This position will be based out of our Jacksonville, FL office, but the position will be working in and around the Tallahassee, Fl and Panama City, FL areas.
Job Duties:
Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments such as in-field surveying and construction layout and making and checking engineering computations.
Inspect construction work and conduct field tests.
Coordinate and manage the lower-level inspectors.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator Certifications:
ACI Concrete Field Technician Level I CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II CTQP Pile Driving Inspection CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I FDOT Advanced MOT CTQP Final Estimates Level I Nuclear Radiation Safety Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Must be capable of walking in steep varying terrain in all climate conditions.
Must be able to drive.
Experience Required:
4 years of experience in roadway or bridge construction inspection, 2 years of which should in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection with the exception of Complex Category 2 (CC2) bridge structures; or a Civil Engineering degree and 1 year of road & bridge CEI experience with the ability to earn additional required certifications within 1 year.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
