Responsibilities For Commercial Electricians:
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals Organizing and planning activities Ordering and managing materials Must be proficient with pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit and terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices along with installing and connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets and other components and systems Must have extensive experience with installing and replacing lighting fixtures/systems, installing and bending conduit (EMT, rigid, and PVC), installation of electrical panels, switches, transformers, control panels, motors, as well as removing electrical equipment Troubleshoot/problem solve Run equipment (back hoe, lull, mini excavator, etc.
) Commercial Electricians must:
Have valid Driver's License Be able to pass Criminal Background Check and access military installations Have own tools Be familiar with NEC codes Be a team player, able to take direction and provide instruction Have Journeyman Electrician's card or Registered Electrical Contractor Be able to stand, sit, squat, kneel, bend and lift a minimum of 70 lbs Be able to climb ladders.
