Job Description
1. Job Title English instructor
2. Job Responsibilities
o Adhering to the mutually agreed-upon work schedule;
o Planning daily lessons, conducting classes, student assessment and feedback/communication with parents, staff and others as appropriate;
o Teaching time is 30 periods/week (1 period = 40 minutes). Work 8 hours per day including teaching hours, an average of five days per week (Usually from Wednesday till Sunday).
Qualifications
o Native English speakers only;
o Minimum education shall be a Bachelors degree. TESOL major or TESOL or TEFL Certificate is preferred;
o Minimum two years education-related work experience. ESL, overseas (especially Asian) teaching experience will be an added advantage;
o Below 50 years of age and willing to teach kids;
o Responsible, precise and patient teaching attitude as well as excellent interpersonal skills;
o Basic computer skills, especially as it relates to new teaching technologies.
Salary and Benefits
o Salary will be commensurate with the employee's educational background and work experience, approximately up from RMB 12,000 (approximately ?1,200, $2,000) monthly, before tax;
o Ten days paid annual academic leave per calendar year;
o Flight ticket (up to 8000RMB) on a one-year contract;
o Health insurance according to Chinese law and the contract;
o Free temporary accommodation (single room) around two to three weeks, en-suite bathroom, furniture, home appliances and Internet access;
o Necessary visa and supporting documentation.
