Air Traffic Control Specialist

- Real-time oversight of the NAS to use the FAA's ATM capabilities to help interagency partners, including the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), detect, validate, identify, and respond to Air Domain threats, particularly potential airborne threats, while mitigating safety and efficiency impacts on the NAS.- Supports management of the Domestic Events Network (DEN), the Government's preeminent tool for real-time interagency coordination on air borne and other Air Domain threats.- Facilitate the planning and execution of air defense and other, related security air missions, particularly those involving NORAD assets; and of tactical training exercises and evaluation activities- Mitigate potential safety and efficiency impacts caused by security threats and/or NORAD activities on NAS operations and translates threat intelligence into actionable airspace security plans supported by the FAA- Provide ATC input to plans and execution for exercises and responses to conventional military threats; and support 4164302for US Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) operations for the Continental United States (CONUS)- Coordinate and provide operational support for NORAD's Air Sovereignty Alert (ASA) exercises; and support AFNORTH's Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) and other disaster response and domestic operations efforts. Performs other duties as assigned. Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FV-I or FG/GS-13) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS:
-Experience in a civilian air traffic facility that provided a comprehensive knowledge of appropriate air traffic control laws, rules and regulations.-Experience must have equipped applicants with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the full range of duties of the position for which application is being made.-------------------------------------------------------------------------You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
