NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS DEPUTY

Directs Air Force consequence management liaison activities on a national level. Personally and through assigned staff, provides advisement on all matters related to disaster/consequence management to the Commander, SECAF, COCOM and MAJCOM Commanders, Director of Military Support (DOMS), NAFs, Field Operating Agencies (FOAs), Direct Reporting Units (DRUs), military departments and defense agencies, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on a full range of detailed and challenging civil-military interface issues with particular focus on Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), Continuity of Government, Continuity of Operations-, Military Support to Civil Law Enforcement Agencies and Foreign Disaster Relief. Accountable for fiscal budget programming and execution. Directs active duty and reserve military personnel appropriation. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors Personally and through assigned staff, reviews and comments on and for HQ USAF, DoD and interagency federal partners' proposed plans, policies, directives, staff memorandums, MOU/MOAs and interagency agreements. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Adminstrative and Management Positions, 0301 Series. Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of level plans and programs for conducting major operations; comprehensive knowledge and mastery of an administrative field to apply experimental theories and new applications or developments to problems not susceptible to treatment by accepted methods; and extensive knowledge of advanced concepts, principles, practices, methods, and techniques to provide expert judgement concerning programs and operations. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations, governing national security emergency preparedness. 2. Knowledge and skill to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, devise solutions to problems, and identify changes and trends. 3. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, apd resolution issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. 4. Ability to locate or access information through the use of a personal computer and softwa-e programs. 5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify, defend, present, advise and to gain cooperation from other through tact; courtesy, and diplomacy. 6. Knowledge of missions, functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and sources of funding pertinent to the agency. 7. Ability to lead, manage, and supervise large groups. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
