POLICE OFFICER (INSTRUCTOR)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing and providing training and classroom instruction of law enforcement equipment usage and application techniques, and law enforcement procedures while performing law enforcement duties; 2) Providing instruction on responding to emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service; 3) Presenting course of instruction regarding enforcing traffic laws and issuing citations for violation such as speeding, reckless driving, and driving under the influence; 4) Providing training on procedures to subdue and disarm those who are doing violence to other persons; assisting the injured and administering first aid; and 5) Gathering and analyzing facts; seizing and protecting evidence; taking witness statements; advising violators of rights. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
