POLICE OFFICER (INSTRUCTOR)

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing and providing training and classroom instruction of law enforcement equipment usage and application techniques, and law enforcement procedures while performing law enforcement duties; 2) Providing instruction on responding to emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service; 3) Presenting course of instruction regarding enforcing traffic laws and issuing citations for violation such as speeding, reckless driving, and driving under the influence; 4) Providing training on procedures to subdue and disarm those who are doing violence to other persons; assisting the injured and administering first aid; and 5) Gathering and analyzing facts; seizing and protecting evidence; taking witness statements; advising violators of rights. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
